DESCRIPTION:Come along to the MCC’s Maltese Heritage Day at the Good Shepherd Hall in Plumpton on Sunday 18 January.\n\nWe’ll be having lots of live music\, Maltese Crafts and Art Exhibitions and MCC affiliated associations will also be showcasing their activities and work.\n\nThere’ll be delicious Maltese food from the St Nicholas festa group and a number of food stalls as well as market stalls with wonderful products\n\nIf you’d like to hold an exhibition or market stall\, contact the MCC via email: contact@mccnsw.org.au

DESCRIPTION:The Maltese Community Council of NSW invites you to its Sette Giugno commemoration. We remember the significant historical events on 7 June\, 1919\, in Malta with a speech about the historic story\, and musical segments by the Maltese Concert Band. Refreshments will be provided after the commemorations.\n\nThe Maltese Concert Band will open the program from 10.30am as guests arrive\, with the ceremony commencing at 11am. If you would like to attend please call 0419 476 924‬ or email contact@mccnsw.org.au to help give an indication of the number of attendees.\n\nSette Giugno is a public holiday in Malta commemorating events that took place on 7 June 1919 when Maltese protested and rioted against their ill treatment at the hands of the British colonial government.
