Aħbar Tajjeb! Good News! Maltese News on SBS will begin broadcasting daily on a new channel.

From Monday 23 May, SBS is launching a new channel called SBS WorldWatch on channel 35. Maltese News bulletins from Television Malta (TVM) will be broadcast every day at 4.30pm on this new channel and will also be available on SBS On Demand.

This is a significant improvement on current Maltese News broadcasts on offer.

SBS WorldWatch Channel 35

Maltese News bulletins are currently shown twice a week on Thursday and Sundays at 8am on SBS Viceland, and available for streaming on SBS On Demand. They provide a round-up of events in Malta from the preceding days.

Now, news bulletins from TVM will be sent daily providing the Maltese community in Australia with the latest from the Maltese Islands.

Channel 35 may already be available on your television, but will not start broadcasting programs until Monday 23 May. If the station is not yet available you may have to retune your television.
