Sette Giugno is a public holiday in Malta commemorating events that took place on 7 June 1919 when Maltese protested and rioted against their ill treatment at the hands of the British colonial government. Four Maltese men were killed and others injured. We remember their sacrifices that helped pave the way to Malta’s independence.
